Recently someone asked me, “who are you married to?”
Assuming this million-dollar question came from him seeing the adornment pictured here, I looked at my left-hand ring finger and said: “GOD.”
Perhaps expecting something else (I’ll never know) and fumbling as he assembled a response, he said, “That’s a damn good answer.”
Maybe I should’ve looked him in the eye to see what version of us died and arose in that instance.
The promise this man asked me about had been confirmed and made manifest long before this conversation today. I know it.
Plenty of people are intimidated, conditioned through generational trauma & overcome by fear and illusion by WORDS; they are merely and surly just that: WORDS.
1 John 1:1 clearly states - in the beginning was The Word. The Word was God, and The Word is God.
False teachings and false interpretation are deliberate by nature and function to do just that: mislead and attempt to manipulate Truth.
In the first verse of the Tao Te Ching we can read: the True Tao cannot be named.
This eternal presence we know about ironically is not bound by spoken word- in any language.
Any human claiming truth by text or words is misled, and as other hymns proclaim, we must “Let them do as they will; only they must not interfere with you who know the truth - they must not try to force upon you that which you have outgrown.” - Krishnamurti, AT THE FEET OF THE MASTER
“No wise man disturbs the understanding of ignorant men attached to action; he should inspire them, performing all actions with discipline.” - THE BHAGAVAD-GITA
GOD IS not a word, person, object, or building. GOD IS sensed, an inner knowing. If we sense GOD, that’s where GOD IS: WITHIN. If GOD IS within, GOD IS within ALL, everywhere at all times. 𓋹
The symbol's morphology depicts the Wholly Reunion with Self, as The Self, known in Chinese culture as the Yijing. This Mystical Marriage occurs in an anatomical structure within the midbrain, aka the sacred “bridal chambers,” and is a teaching of its own.
I AM reminded of these Truth Teachings with each glance at my simple piece of jewelry. This was a gift to myself acquired from the Spiritualist camp bookstore in Cassadaga, Florida just before I chose to travel across the continental United States to begin a life, which at that point I had no idea was waiting for me! The inner knowing of a talisman specific for my excursion waiting there for me was strong; walking in I had in mind a beautiful, crystal pendant and with no prior conscious connection to this symbol, had left the store that day with this item instead.
Fast forward a few years: I'd like to celebrate the journey and cheers the man that initiated this post.
Much love and many blessings -
Until next time,
Angela
I’ve never seen this so beautifully written….Thank You!
